William Wordsworth (Уильям Вордсворт)

* * *

A slumber did my spirit seal;
    I had no human fears:
She seemed a thing that could not feel
    The touch of earthly years.
No motion has she now, no force;
    She neither hears nor sees;
Rolled round in earth's diurnal course,
    With rocks, and stones, and trees.

William Wordsworth's other poems:
  1. On the Frith of Clyde
  2. Suggested at Tyndrum in a Storm
  3. The Countess’ Pillar
  4. At Bala-sala, Isle of Man
  5. Glen Almain; Or, the Narrow Glen
