Dear Sir, at ony time or tide,
I’d rather sit with you than ride,
  	Tho’ ’twere wi’ royal Geordie;
And troth! your kindness, soon and late,
Aft gars me to mysel look blate;
  	The Lord in Heaven reward ye!
