Robert Burns (Роберт Бернс)

The Carles of Dysart

UP wi’ the carles of Dysart,
  And the lads o’ Buckhaven,
And the kimmers o’ Largo,
  And the lasses o’ Leven.
    Hey, ca’ thro’, ca’ thro’,
      For we hae mickle ado;
    Hey, ca’ thro’, ca’ thro’,
      For we hae mickle ado.

We hae tales to tell,
  And we hae sangs to sing;
We has pennies to spend,
  And we has pints to bring.

We’ll live a’ our days,
  And them that come behin’,
Let them do the like,
  And spend the gear they win.

Robert Burns's other poems:
  1. Sleep’st Thou, or Wak’st Thou
  2. Their Groves O’ sweet Myrtle
  3. Castle Gordon
  4. Gala Water
  5. Lines Written under the Picture of Miss Burns
