Emily Elizabeth Dickinson (Эмили Дикинсон)

Vanished

She died, - this was the way she died;
And when her breath was done,
Took up her simple wardrobe
And started for the sun.

Her little figure at the gate
The angels must have spied,
Since I could never find her
Upon the mortal side.

Emily Elizabeth Dickinson's other poems:
  1. Going
  2. Who Robbed the Woods
  3. Their Height in Heaven Comforts Not
  4. If I Should Die
  5. Lay This Laurel on the One
