Accounts Balanced

Whilst Zoilus, with canker’d spite,
	My reputation slays,
The way that I his spleen requite, –
	Is loading him with praise.

How oddly happy is my case,
	’Tis easy to conceive,
Since whatsoever either says,
	No mortal can believe.
