Poem by Robert Burns

Fragmentary Verses. 2. “A head pure, sinless quite, of brain or soul...”

A head pure, sinless quite, of brain or soul:
The very image of a barber’s poll –
It shows a human face, and wears a wig,
And looks, when well preserved, amazing big.
