Michael Drayton (Майкл Дрейтон)

Roc

All feathered things yet ever known to men,
From the huge Rucke, unto the little Wren;
From Forrest, Fields, from Rivers and from Pons,
All that have webs, or cloven-footed ones;
To the Grand Arke, together friendly came,
Whose several species were too long to name.

Michael Drayton's other poems:
  1. Sonnet 33. Whilst Yet Mine Eyes Do Surfeit With Delight
  2. Sonnet 30. Those Priests which First the Vestal Fire Begun
  3. Sonnet 28. To Such as Say thy Love I Overprize
  4. Sonnet 38. Sitting Alone, Love
  5. Sonnet 9. As Other Men
