Margaret Cavendish (Маргарет Кавендиш)

The Weight Of Atomes

IF Atomes are as small, as small can bee,
They must in quantity of Matter all agree:
And if consisting Matter of the same (be right,)
Then every Atome must weigh just alike.
Thus Quantity, Quality and Weight, all
Together meets in every Atome small.

Margaret Cavendish's other poems:
  1. What Atomes Make Death
  2. What Atomes Make The Wind Collick
  3. Motion Is The Life Of All Things
  4. Of Sharpe Atomes
  5. All Things Last, Or Dissolve, According To The Composure Of Atomes
