Robert Browning (Роберт Браунинг)

Parting at Morning

Round the cape of a sudden came the sea,
And the sun looked over the mountain's rim:
And straight was a path of gold for him,
And the need of a world of men for me.

Robert Browning's other poems:
  1. Up at a Villa-Down in the City
  2. An Epistle Containing the Strange Medical Experience of Karshish, the Arab Physician
  3. Never the Time and the Place
  4. Earth's Immortalities
  5. Respectability
