Ричард Ченевикс Тренч. Биография

Ричард Ченевикс Тренч (Richard Chenevix Trench) — английский богослов, ирландец по происхождению (1807—1886). Читал богословие в Лондонской королевской коллегии; был вестминстерским деканом, затем архиепископом дублинским. Сочинения Т.: «Notes on the parables», «St.-Angustinus as an intrerpreter of Scripture» (1841), «The Star of the wise men», «On lesson in proverbs», «Synonyms of the New Testament» (1853), «Notes on the miracles of our Lord» (1856), «Lectures on mediaevel church history» (1878), «Justin martyr», «Poems from Eastern sources», «Elegiac poems», «Essay on the life and genius of Calderon».
