Poem by Christina Georgina Rossetti

* * *

Your brother has a falcon,
Your sister has a flower;
But what is left for mannikin,
Born within a hour?
I'll nurse you on my knee, my knee,
My own little son;
I'll rock you, rock you, in my arms,
My least little one.

1. Song (O roses for the flush of youth)
2. A Peal of Bells
3. My Dream
4. Maude Clare
5. In the Round Tower at Jhansi, June 8, 1857
