Poem by Robert Herrick

Upon a Maid

Here she lies, in bed of spice,
Fair as Eve in paradise;
For her beauty, it was such,
Poets could not praise too much.

1. To Daisies, Not to Shut so Soon
2. Upon Mrs Eliz. Wheeler, under the Name of Amarillis
3. Lovers How They Come and Part
4. To Carnations: a Song
5. The Lily in a Crystal
