Poem by Edward Lear

* * *

There was an old person of Minety,
Who purchased five hundred and ninety
	Large apples and pears,
        Which he threw unawares
At the heads of the people of Minety.

1. There was an Old Man in a barge
2. There was an Old Man in a boat
3. There was an Old Person of Leeds
4. There was an Old Person of Ischia
5. There was an Old Man with a gong
