Poem by James Weldon Johnson

Voluptas

    To chase a never-reached mirage
    Across the hot, white sand,
And choke and die, while gazing on
    Its green and watered strand.

1. A Plantation Bacchanal
2. The Glory of the Day Was in Her Face
3. Brer Rabbit, You's de Cutes' of 'Em All
4. Tunk
5. The Word of an Engineer
