Poem by Robert Burns

Inscribed on a Tavern Window

Thou Greybeard, old Wisdom, mayst boast of thy treasures;
  	Give me with young Folly to live:
I grant thee thy calm-blooded, time-settled pleasures;
  	But Folly has raptures to give.
