Robert Herrick (Роберт Геррик (Херрик))

An Epitaph upon a Virgin

     Here a solemn fast we keep,
     While all beauty lies asleep;
     Hush'd be all things, no noise here
     But the toning of a tear;
     Or a sigh of such as bring
     Cowslips for her covering.

1. An Ode of the Birth of Our Saviour
2. The Dirge of Jephthah's Daughter: Sung by the Virgins
3. To His Kinswoman, Mistress Susanna Herrick
4. On Himself (I'll write no more of love, but now repent)
5. Cock-Crow
