Lola Ridge (Лола Ридж)

Palestine

  Old plant of Asia--
  Mutilated vine
  Holding earth's leaping sap
  In every stem and shoot
  That lopped off, sprouts again--
Why should you seek a plateau walled about,
  Whose garden is the world?
