Robert Herrick (Роберт Геррик (Херрик))

Discontents in Devon

MORE discontents I never had
Since I was born then here,
Where I have been, and still am sad,
  In this dull Devonshire.
Yet justly too I must confesse,
  I ne’r invented such
Ennobled numbers for the presse,
Then where I loath’d so much.

1. Upon Julia's Voice
2. Men Mind No State in Sickness
3. Christs Words on the Crosse: “My God, My God”
4. Life Is the Body's Light
5. The Bell-Man (Along the dark and silent night)
