Hilaire Belloc (Хилар Беллок)

On the Little God

Of all the gods that gave me all their glories
To-day there deigns to walk with me but one.
I lead him by the hand and tell him stories.
It is the Queen of Cyprus’ little son.

1. A Trinity
2. Is there any reward?
3. The Dromedary
4. Kings live in Palaces, and Pigs in sties
5. On the Ladies of Pixton
