Lenimina Laborum. 55. Deep in the ocean's thundering wave Deep in the ocean's thundering wave O that I sank into my grave! Where my knell shall be The groans of the sea Tolling within some hollow cave. O that I lay in my narrow bed With the ocean weeds to pillow my head, Its foam for my shroud, While its lullaby loud Deepened the sleep of the happy dead! |
