Meditations on Marcus Aurelius

           ĎWait in peace for extinction,
           or an altered state.í
Iím waiting in peace for extinction.
Iím taking your splendid advice.
But I would like to make one distinction;
I donít mean to go through it twice.
So can you assure me that this is
the absolute, ultimate end?
The thought that youíre taking the piss is
a bit of a downer, my friend.
Suggesting that states can be altered
is really not helpful, you know.
I donít like to feel that you faltered
when Iím perfectly happy to go.
