Epigrams. The First Booke. ¹ 27. Of Lust, and Anger

LUst taking pleasure in its owne delite,
Communicats it selfe to two togither:
But far more base is anger, whose despite
Rejoyceth at the sorrow of another;
For th'one is kindly, th'other sows debate;
Lust hath a smack of love: but wrath of hate.
